We were so lucky to get this referral from Heather Kincaid who is a fantastic photographer, and we were met by Mari and Rick, who were such a blast, and both of them looked amazing on this day. Both the wedding and reception were held right at their place and it is so fun when everyone knows each other and no one shies away from getting a little crazy for the night. On top of that, the day was gorgeous and everything was picture perfect. Scrumptious food provided by Lemuel at LA Rose Cafe, homemade wedding cake from Mari’s sister, which came out awesome (see below), lotsa dancing, and of course, the endless bar!! Mari and Rick were THE best hosts and we cant thank you enough for having us enjoy their special day, along with their beautiful families. And of course we cant forget Julie Anne Gardner, who helped with all the details in putting together such an great event. Here’s a few of the captures throughout the day.

As we left, the music was still blaring and everyone just having a wonderful time. This one could have gone on all night!!
This wedding was an extra special wedding for us as it was one of our family getting married. Scottie (Greg’s cousin) & Margaret were married on the roof top of the La Jolla Cove Suites. The view from there…absolutely breathtaking, just like the bride.
After the ceremony, we took the whole wedding party down to the cove for some fun shots. The thing I love about Scottie and Margaret are their fun & crazy personalities. They can not hold a serious face for too long as their goofiness just has to come out. They are so cute together and you know they are so in love.
We had a great time at the wedding. We want to wish you tons of happiness love you both! Here are a few of the captures we got throughout the day……

Catch up to you soon…….
Congrats to my sister and brother-in-law on their 2nd BEAUTIFUL little girl…Ema.
Ema was born on 10/18/08 at 12:20am. She weighed in at 6 lbs 5 oz and 18 inches long. I didn’t make it to the hospital in time to witness the delivery since Ema girl came out so fast (4 hours and 3 pushes…and the little girl was out).
Ema is absolutely ADORABLE!! She has long fingers and toes just like her big sister and Daddy. She also has a full set of hair already.
Anyways…congrats guys!! Auntie loves you! We’ll be coming by to visit again very soon… =)

Big sister Mia loves her little sister Ema…sooo cute!
Who says the couple has to be around to plan a wedding these days?? We were lucky enough and so thankful to be referred over from another awesome couple of ours, Wildon and Angela, whom we actually just saw a few weeks ago, and shot their wedding this past April. Julie and Jose just proved the point that a wedding can be planned wholly by email and just a couple days in town to meet and greet all the vendors, make sure the dress fits well and everyone is aware of what’s going on. Julie planned her whole day from, of all places, Colombia. We even had time for a quick engagement shoot on Thursday. She and Jose both work at the US embassy and travel the world with their jobs. Next stop……Iraq!!
The wedding and reception took place at the Huntington Beach Hilton and it went fabulous!! Jose had family and friends in from Miami and Julie’s family and friends mostly from the good ol’ OC. Of course, we got treated to shoot another amazing bride, and felt so comfy, since their families and friends were such a blast to hang out with. I can’t believe this is actually “work” as you get to mingle, laugh, cry, and enjoy the most special day of someone’s life. We are so happy we had the chance to share this with you. Hope you enjoy just a few of the moments we captured throughout the day.

What a night!!!
This weekend, we were in Laguna Beach to shoot Erika and Matt’s Wedding. It has been so fun to work with both of them….probably since they REALLY love to have fun. We have felt so comfortable around them. Erika is such a sweetie and Matt is a really easy-going, do-whatever kind of guy. The morning started pretty iffy, with sprinkling and dark grey clouds, but as the day unraveled, it just got more perfect by the minute.
In the case of this day, less was really more. They started with a small church ceremony, with about 15 family members, then the “party” in Laguna Beach ended up with about 50 of their closest friends and relatives. After a quick and short Church ceremony in Dana Point, we were off to a Laguna Beach house to continue the festivities. By this time, the clouds burnt off and the sun and guests were ready to have some fun. The backyard was the Laguna Beach coastline. Catering was provided by “The Taco Guy”, beers were chilling on ice, and everyone just let loose. Matt is quite the gentleman as he also serenaded to Erika during the evening, wherein Erika was so kind to smash a piece of cake in Matt’s face afterwards. Even the kids got into the act on that one. It was an evening with two beautiful families and friends having the time of their lives.
Thanks so much to both of you for including us in your day and here are a few shots which made it so enjoyable…………

I usually meet all my clients before our engagement, but Erika and Matt trusted me enough to take care of her wedding and engagement without even meeting beforehand. We met at the train station at San Juan Capistrano and hit it off right from the beginning. Both of them are so easy going and are up for whatever. They also brought along Matt’s son, Christian, who is possibly the best behaved 11 year old you can ever know. After all the uncertainty leading up to our day, its confirmed that I will be shooting another beautiful bride. Erika is stunning and Matt is a super lucky guy, always laid back and cool about anything. We also snuck around the St Regis grounds towards the evening and pretty much just messed around for the rest of the night.
Their wedding date is right around the corner at the end of May at a really cool beach house in Laguna Beach…..I cant wait!! Here are just a few from our day.

Wherever we went, Christian would always find a little comfortable spot where he could just relax and kick back
