We had the privilege of shooting Gracee and Efren’s Wedding this past Saturday. They are such a sweet couple and so in love. It has been a real pleasure spending time and getting to know them and feel so fortunate we’ve been welcomed into their lives the last five months!! They are so great to work with and even better friends.
Their day as we arrived in Long Beach was a little hectic at first with the huge wedding party and the bride trying to get ready at the house, but the ceremony went off as scheduled. What a beautiful ceremony at the Church Gracee grew up in.
It has been cool the past couple weeks leading up to the wedding, so I knew Gracee was praying for nice warm weather…and boy was her prayers answered. The temperature was well into the 90s and super HOT…but still a gorgeous day for a wedding.
We went to Shoreline for portraits afterwards and got some really fun shots.
The reception was set off by the bride & groom’s first dance which they learned a few weeks prior and was executed perfectly. Gracee’s brother Gerald was the MC for the night, and may I add is the funniest guy I have ever come across. I think he had the whole room in tears from laughing too hard because I sure was. And there’s Pat, Gracee’s other brother who played the keyboard and sang for the father/daughter dance. What a voice!! I just love guys who can sing. Greg can’t sing but I still love him =P
Their wedding was super eventful, everyone was wonderful and we just had a really great time!
After unwinding and relaxing a while for their honeymoon in the Hawaiian Islands, Gracee and Efren will be heading back to Toronto and beginning married life in Efren’s old stomping grounds.
~We love you guys and will miss you…keep in touch!!
Here are a few captures we got throughout the day……..
